Read Dancers post this am, shut down the computer machine and hit that trashy place...I was happy to see a major blowout! I started finding all the right signals amongst the iron...after a while, my ears were shot, so I went back to the car looked over my finds, drink some coffee and think a little...I KNEW there had to be gold in here...I had a wheat penny and all this old looking stuff...so I went back out, and right next to a big slab of now exposed sunken concrete, I got a solid 61...figuring it was a beavertail, I took a half hearted scoop and was surprised to see this old gold!
Its inscribed with initials, and 11/23/18 and weighs 4.3g 14k...running the Pro stock coil, iron off, 40 disc, pro zero, and maybe 4 bars of sens..first gold for me for the year! Thanks Dancer and Findmall!
Oh, that hand its on? not mine, :sadwalk: once again I got ripped off at the house!

Mud nice going! There's hardly anything more exciting for me than finding a gold ring. I know how hard they are to find, but worth the effort when you do.

Nice going Mud. Nothing like a piece of nice old gold. That one probably has some tales to tell. :beers: HH jim tn

That's one nice honker of gold! I did the math.....US $104.46 at the last spot price for gold. Easy money!:beers:

Strike up a win for the hunter! I like the picture of Pro/Scoop. Got to hand it to you for fighting through there with stock coil. Ring looks great. Brings up the old question, "Who, when, & how was it lost. Now you gave us all a kick!

Thanks guys, I think I'll go in there and try to get all iron out of a certain strategic location just to do a test to see if it masked anything? The Pro seems to do a great job picking through it and hitting on good targets...but now I'm curious.
Mud.

Yeah - yeah! WTG! That's an oldie with a story we will likely never know. Now because of your post I hope to duplicate the success you had. I know there has got to be some more AU lurking...
Heat & humidity today may be the limiting factors to how long I can go at it.

SWEET! And I "dig" that scoop, too! Is that an old pier in the first pic?'
And I was looking at the pics before I read your comments....I was thinking "hmm, he sure has manicured fingernails", lol. Glad you set me straight on that, lol.

Yessssss! Great catch and lesson in manifestation! That should encourage the warden to let you out on good behavior, too!
