A few years ago my dad told me about a spot he went to as a kid back in the 30's.
He said it was a swimming hole 0n the river which had consesions and also held dances.
This spring i went back in there, it didn't look like much, I did get a wheaty, wasn't trying very hard.
I went back Monday had my sovereign didn't find a thing...(lost a set of keys)
Tues:
On the way back from the lawyers, went back to look for my keys, had the cz6a with the ten inch coil with me.
On way in found three wheatys and a 1903 barber dime Things are looking better.
A mding friend called said he was coming out with his super trac.
I'll try to keep this story short, by the time i quit i had twentyone coins including 1917 merk very worn, 1888 indian head, 1891 indian head, a like new 1890 indian head, a badly bent 1898 and a real green bad shape 1881.
Rob got two merks, four wheatys, a small gold ring that said happy 25 on it he also got a old army man that looked to be a ww1 made of metal (pretty cool). Hunting tme 7 hours.

Wensday:
Not as many targets today, dug some pulltab-nickel reading got a 1902 liberty nickel a 1911 liberty, a 1942 jeff nickel and a 1866 indian head also a couple of wheatys.
I'll have to go to part Two no more room>>>>>>>>>>>>>


 
Thursday:
Only hit two coins today 1906 liberty nickel,and a wheaty.

Friday:
Got a 1920 merk. pretty good shape also got a 1903 indian head good shape and four wheatys.
Felt sorry for rob, sold him my 3D so he could be a fisher user also.
I wlll go back out mon.


Wish my Dad was still here to see them..
 
Great job. I haven't had much luck near creeks and rivers as they really fill in with silt and also get trashed up. Congrats on a great spot.

Thanks Allen, I'll get a camera with a zoom on it to show you the finds, mine doesn't do it.
If I remember right your running a cz20 and a cz5, I was going to sell the 6a and use the 3D but I sold the 3D, can't sell the 6a, the 3D had a little more popping and cracking .
