Hello All,
Newbie here,
Has anyone here relic hunted on or around Dade battlefield in Bushnell Florida?
Being a state park no metal detectors are allowed, never mind digging or taking of artifacts or relics.
I was thinking that the battle may have not been confined to the park or the park location may have been approximate to the battle location. I would like to check some of the surrounding properties (With land owner

only thing ya can do is ask.be sure ya talk to the right person and get written permission.I know about the area ya looking to hunt as I used to live in Land O'Lakes.lots of good hunting there.check with property owners if everything isn't already developed.if ya can get onto a property while they're clearing and scrapeing it its even better-good luck

Thanks Woodwizard for your input.
I am trying to locate the surrounding property owners through the county property tax division, I am hoping it will be easier to get permission to treasure hunt on a property than it is to get permission to hog hunt there.:bouncy:
