D200

RM what do you think about the new yet to be released Nikon D200?

Can't afford the D2X but thought this might be a great step up for me.

Tom,

The D200 looks like a great camera.
We have ordered one and I'm really anxious to see the body it is built on.
I'm looking for something more durable than the D70 and D70S.

The specs look really great. I do not think it is a CMOS sensor. I'm getting really used to the CMOS sensor in the D2X. The D200 sound really fast also.

I just want to see and handle it.

Thank's RM! I will probably wait to see some pictures taken with this new camera . From what I have read I think it's going to be far ahead of the D70
Again Thanks
Tom

What do you expect the D200 to do that your present camera can't?

It's also very hard to make comparisons over the Internet. Much detail gets lost in resizing.
