CZ's in the woods?

Which CZ do you own or are you trying to decide on whether or not to get one? With their deep seeking abilities, really, nothing can go deeper than a Fisher CZ, they are ideal for relic hunting. They are multi-frequency beasts! Running at 5kz and 10Kz they are ideal for deep iron and lead. The 5kz makes them excellent coin units and the 10kz helps pull out Au signals and really grabs Fe! If the area is free from trash, like pull tabs and other modern trash you can run them in Autotune and you won't miss anything! I have taken my CZ5 and CZ6A to the lake for beach hunting, the coils are waterproof but I have to keep the head dry! I have (too) many detectors, Fisher CZ5 and CZ6A, White's Prizm V, VFX, XLT, Classic I, II, III and even two old 5900 and 6000 Di blue box machines, plus Garrett's and more. I only go out with my faithfull Fisher's now! I never found gold until I bought my first Fisher CZ5! It finds more nickels than any other machine (which means I find more rings!) If I was more patient, I would dig more pull tab and foil targets and I know I would have more rings. Get your CZ and hit those woods and post pics of your finds for us! HH and good luck with it!

Yep now that fall is here and the jungle is dying back I can get to those old foundations, I have a CZ6A and I am still learning the sounds but I am loving it so far.Fun machine!
5 and 15 kHz. And yes, it's a nickel magnet but not for the reason that most people think. 
The biggest CZ secrets are
1. slow down in trashy areas or where the good targets are shallow
2. coins and rings tend to give repeatable signals, fast or slow sweep, both directions if you X the target. Deeper ones often give the iron tone, but ignore that and concentrate on what the nonferrous tones do.
3. Shallow iron will usually give a fairly repeatable iron tone. Apart from that, iron usually can't make up its mind. You don't see the repeatability that coins and rings usually give.

I have gotten good sounding tones from the nails and I am right now trying to tell the difference between a good target from a good sounding nail, It is tough because they are very similar sounding. Other than that I have no complaints.
Coinspader heres a trick to avoid nails...Once you dig a plug and signal seems to move its a nail on side of hole. Replace plug and move on.....try it as it really works in most cases and you will dig few nails. Really deep nails can fool the best of us but dig very few nails...
