CZ's do go down....

If your CZ is acting strangely or different than other CZ models you have used may be time for a tuneup..Remember CZ's have been aroud a long time starting with the original CZ6 in 1992 and imagine parts could lose their efficiency over the years or your outfit may be out of tune...might ask a experienced CZ user to try and see what he thinks or always a local Fisher dealer for advice...

Yes Dan is correct, components do change as they start gaining age. Capacitors and resistors can go up or down in value. Resistors have a rating as to how close they will be to the stated value when manufactured. They can have a 1%, 5%, and 10% up or down tolerance value. Electrolytic capacitors can dry out if left unused for a long period of time. Also solder joints age too, and will become brittle and can begin to actually show a seperating condition from the PCB. With the newer SMT it has given us a much more stable platform to work with. Ok I hope this is helpful. God Bless everyone and happy hunting. Hey Berly!
