CZ7a Pro Tips.

VaBill

New member
Im getting an CZ7a Pro and would like to some tips on the machine. The CZ forum has been quiet.

Bill,in my area in MI I run my sensitivity around 4.All the CZs I keep the volume at or below 4 to avoid the audio boost. The CZ7A is easy to cherry pick with the notch system. The CZ is a great silver detector for worked out area's. Good Luck Ron

I know they say that the sensitivity doesnt have to be cranked up but that seems a little low. And I've never ran a machine with the notch system.

Bill,I think the CZ7A has depth over the Cz3d and CZ5 but its not as stable when the sensitivity is cranked up.The CZ7A will give excellent depth at 4.This is my second CZ7A they work really well in area's that have been hit hard.My CZ3D could have the sensitivity at 10 and work fine, not so with the CZ7A.I hit a coin spill today 74 coins in a couple of hours pennies and nickles every target a couple of inches probably got about half of the spill. Ran out of time,I'm going back later this week to retreive the rest. Later Ron

As far as I am concerned any CZ is a good one..Read Mike's CZ page as it will help [mikewd.fws1.com] any specific questions drop me an E-mail..Next to the last of the digital version of CZ's is an excellent unit without question...
