CZ7A PRO Question?

Is there any way to disconnect or how hard would it be to disconnect the PRESET touch pad? A couple of times now I've been out relic hunting and for awhile I don't get any beeps. Then I check the notch pad and it has jumped to the preset mode(coins only). I only use this machine to relic hunt so I don't need the preset.
Thanks

Call Fisher and they may have an easy fix..have heard of this before and many need a trip to the shop...

As Dan said, there is a reason for this. I had the same problem with my CZ-70 at one time and sent it in. They fixed it and Daniel Snell at Fisher told me that they replaced a bad resistor.
