CZ70

I've got a CZ70. I was reading other posts dealing with target IDs.

Anyone find some sort of pattern dealing with coins and the IDs that will show? I have noticed with a couple deeper coins I will show a "coin", "relic", and "iron" IDs and sometimes just "iron".

So I guess what I am asking is that if anyone how found some type of guideline, that if the ID shows up iron a couple times one way and a coin another way, than most likely it is a coin. Maybe some other signs?

I have found that switching to "auto" mode helps too, but I like using the ID mode also.

THANKS AND LUCK TO ALL...

Sometimes it's a coin sometimes it's iron falsing ie the point of a nail.Sometimes it's a coin with iron fairly close by.My buddy dug about 3 pounds of 8 to 10 inch deep rusty nails Tuesday looking at deep one way coin tones. He hunted on about 5 feet out of that area, got a clean coin hit both ways,it was a 1912 S Barber dime in AU condition. This was at 4 inches deep.He stopped chasing the one way coin hits after that. One my CZ 70 a nickel to foil bounce is most likely a nickel.Bill
