CZ70 on the way.

Let's hope your trip turns out at least as nice as mine. I bought my CZ70 for a beach trip. I never used it before arriving at the beach. I read a lot about it and also about beach hunting. I was lucky enough to find a silver dinner ring in dry sand and a 14 K man's band with 7 diamond chips. The cool bonus was that it fit my finger. I didn't get to hunt much, but loved it. Good luck. Don't be afraid to tease the surf and dig out in the water a ways. Post your photos from our hunt.

Watch for that solid foil or bounce from foil to nickle as probably close to 50 percent of where your gold rings will be found. Run low disc. and dig all as gold rings fall in a large range on the meter. Find a gold medallion that may have fallen off a gold chain switch to autotune and cover the area well as the chain could be there also.In saltwater if hunting in the wet sand ground balance there and vice versa if you hunt in the dry sand. Actually if you can get away using the regular mode in dry sand do so. May have to run your sensitivity a little lower in saltwater enviroment to keep a stable unit but still expect depth. CZ can hold its own with any beach unit and don't be surprised if you dig a quarter or two over a foot. The secret to having a deep and stable CZ is proper ground balancing so go in your back yard and practice the bobbing method as you will be a CZ newbie..Last but not least I put you onto this unit for sale so lets hope its a dandy and serves you well....
