Cz7 meter differences vs cz6a...

Just picked up a used cz7 and noticed the meter is different then then 6a.The foil icon on the cz7 is just below zinc where as on the 6a the foil icon is inbetween the tab icons.Just wondering if there is any advantage on the digital cz's with this setup.Any thoughts??

As far as I know the foil range is the same rel area it covers and can't remember where it was on my CZ7 as I haven't used one for years..Of course disc. is linear on CZ6A and on the CZ7 any of the facets can be notched out so is superior in that aspect. You will find that the CZ7 was the first digital CZ and used batteries when not being used and the pinpoint hesitates.Going to find even thought heavier than the CZ6A is better balanced due configuration. As far as advantage where it shows up on meter I don't see any...

Thanks Dan,not that I need another cz but the notching might be fun.I dont know how much of a drain the battery thing is so I will just disconnect them when not using it.Take care and happy hunting)

Only have to take one battery pack out so I alternated sides when I had my CZ7 and CZ7A....works quite well and the slight pause when pinpointing is no problem. You will love the
weighting and the 80-90 hours on a set of batteries...
