Hi All, Dose any of the 5"CZ coils fit a CZ6 that has been changed to a CZ6A? I think it is a 5pin now, so dose all 5" coils fit? Thanks Dean

There is only one 5 inch CZ coil with 5 pins that I know of ( meaning there weren't any after market 5 inch coils...only the Fisher 5 inch coil), and it will fit all CZ's other than an original CZ6

Great coil too.

Thanks Therover, I have this detector coming this week with the 8" coil, Will use it till i can find a 5". Thanks Dean

CZ6 was the original CZ unit and they had a molded 4 pin plug and after many failing some were changed to the CZ6A so if your unit is modified it definetly a 5 pin and all 5 pin CZ 5 inch coils will fit. Unfortunately it had to be manufactured in late 1991 or 1992 as the original CZ6 had a short run and close to 20 years old but not to worry as these analog CZ's seem to run forever sort of like the energizer rabbit...And yes the original CZ6 had a 4 pin 5 inch coil so imagine some still around so specify 5 pin when looking for one.

Does anyone have one of the 4 pin coils for the original CZ6 detectors. Prefer the 10.5 coil, but any size would be appreciated. Please contact me at 636 299-2599. My detector coil was damaged beyond repair. So please let me know if interested in selling one. Thanks Clarence (Bunker) Hill
