CZ6a with the 5 inch coil

Well, the last 2-3 trips to the beach were useless...and today was the worst. Spent 15 bucks in gas, 2 hours drive time for 12 cents !

So..I decided that I still needed detecting time so I took the 6a with the 5 inch coil to a local high school. I figured since the small coil got me 5 wheaties, a buffalo and a merc dime yesterday, it couldn't hurt.

I got these along with a bunch of clad. It's all land hunting now. Can't believe how great that little coil is.

5 inch hockey puck coil is indeed a nice coil properly used and certainly not a beach coil as it lacks coverage but many do well with it on land in junky areas or perhaps in tight spots or along sidewalks and such where the stock coil is not applicable..Heck its light as can be and in most case sens. can be raised higher than the convential coil usage to give nice depth and certainly an effective acc. coil to most CZ users when used properly..Gives you sort of two CZ's in one and many also have the 10 inch coil to give them a 3 in 1 CZ...
