CZ6A Question.

I just purchased this detector 2 weeks ago and so far it works as it should...I can hear something move around inside the control box...Any ideas on this one...

If the batteries are snug and you aren't hearing the batteries move, then I have no idea. If it is working as it should, I think I'd just keep enjoying using it.
Cheers,

Probably batteries

Rarely a nut would come loose and start bouncing around. Everything's fine until it lands in the wrong place and shorts something out. Maybe that's it, maybe it's something else, but in any case there should not be something bouncing around in there especially metal.

My recommendation would be to call the factory and ask for an estimate on what it would cost to open the thing up and fix the rattle, don't mess with anything else.. And, remove the batteries so there's no juice in there to spark anything.

Although the CZ-6A hasn't been manufactured for 20 years and the factory is now in El Paso, there are people in repair department who know how to fix them.
