Saw one just go out the door with some fast last minute bidding. Jumped from 305.00 to over 500.00 last I saw with 2hrs left. It did have 3 coils and poles and 2 headphones. Could not get the age of it out of seller so I didnt bid. Way to much IMHO. Lots of stuff though.

Hey Hwy 395,
You got the deal of the day on that one. I bet there were 25 responses on that detector at that price. You did good!

Boy that was deal of the month. Pick my CZ3D up Friday just in time for beach trip. While my deal is not that good I was able to do some bartering for some of my the trees I raise to get less cash out of pocket for new unit W/warrenty I hope I never need. 40 less than cheapest price on internet to start with. Man thats customer service. Walk out door fall in sand. I also have my collection of bad pennies for my trip down the beach. Could make somebodys day:)

Thanks clad. I'm looking forward to learning the CZ3D. I've been a Minelab Explorer SE user for years and finally sold it. It's a good machine, I grew weary of the constant nulling out because of the slow recovery speed and the weight. I wanted something else and I've always wanted to try a CZ3D. I'm glad I got one of the older 1021 models. I don't have a warranty, but these old Fishers were built well, unlike the newer F series detectors that feel very cheap and flimsy in my hands.

Saw that auction, I said to myself, " Self, someone really wanted that.". I hope, whoever won that hey have a good time with it and enjoy the hobby.

The buyer got the unit at about half the price of a high end unit and will probably find twice as much with it. I think he got a good deal.

Ya, You got a hell of a deal. I told the guy I would take it also, But would like to see a couple of pictures so be sure it was not beat-up. I bought one when they first came out and really like it. I set my sens on 3-4 and never go above that and dig coins really deep with it. I never liked it untill I turned the sens down and that did it. Good luck you lucky guy.

Thanks Luther. I haven't gotten a chance to try out the CZ3D yet, aside from doing an air test, but it looks to be a great machine. I think I got a good deal, especially considering I got 2 extra coils. A 1021 CZ3D, with no extra coils or anything, just sold on eBay for $615 + $20 shipping! Good to know if I ever decide to sell this, I will probably get back what I paid, at least.

I haven't done a ground test yet. If my mineralized ground out here is too much for the CZ3D to handle, I'll shoot you a message if you are still interested in buying one. I'll give a fair price.
