CZ6 and saltwater, how does it do?

William

New member
can anyone tell me how good is the cz6 in the saltwater? What difference is there between the cz6 and cz6a? Thanks William:detecting:

Certainly one of the best units around although in some areas may have to turn sensitivty down, but handles salwater conditions well..CZ6A is weather resistant with no external speaker. CZ5 does not have these features and does have an external speaker. Same unit depth and workwise...and only cosmetic differences mentioned above...

One of the best for the beach.......& the difference in a 6 & 6A is that the original 6 had a wierd pigtail headphone thingy. This was quickly fixed & called a 6A....many 6's were sent back to have the pigtail removed, including mine....so I consider mine a 6A & will be keeping it. It's my rain detector due to no speaker.......
