CZ5 hipmount/chestmount

Are there any bags or chest harnesses made for body mounting a CZ housing? I know know you can slip a belt through the mount attached to it, but what about a chest mount or bag to keep the detector housing protected?

Is it like the one used for the 1280 and CZ20/21?
If so those are still available.
I just don't know if they would work. Would the snaps on the chestmount be to wide to allow it to be used with a CZ5/3D control housing?

Kellyco has the chest mount strap/harness, do a search for Fisher Chest Harness (CZ-21 / 1280x / Gold Bug 2) these will work with the CZ-5. Shop around, you can get them cheaper.

Hi Neil You can look up Hollands Brook metal detectors, I got 3 chest mount harness from them about 4 months ago. Not a bad price if I remember right they were like 20.00 each . And yes they work Great on CZ 6a, CZ 3D, And CZ 7a pro. Ph # 888-896-4660. I Have yet to find a weather pouch with Velcro strap flap. Like Fisher had for them back in the mid 90's. If you should find the weather cover shoot me a message I'd like to get 3 of them. And I'll do the same. HH, Don

Yesterday I ordered the chest harness and the 5" coil for the CZ5.
I also ordered another fisher armrest for my other shadow x5. I like those fisher armrests.

My brainstorm strap is as follows : a shoulder strap from a computer bag, these straps are long and almost always have clips on the ends, and a trash bag bungee cord looped 3 times. Extend shoulder strap all the way, clip one end to other, place bungee on detector below hand hold , bungee looped 3x should be approx 6-8 inches long, clip other strap end to looped bungee and you are done

Fisher had a company product for the Digital CZ's and believe aftermarket ones for the analogs but haven't seen one in years....Sov. bag will work and are still available...
