will if your hunting for gold rings put the disc. on 1 and sen on about 6. most gold rings will fall in foil, but I have found them in the 2 pul tabs and nickels, too. Silver rings fall in the quarters, but one time I found a silver little ring that fill in the bottom pultab ( yes it was silver) I tryed it on 3 other cz's and it did the same, don't know why. Be ready to dig alot of junk.

and I set it up the same as for land hunts (large clean areas). Sens. as high as is stable, volume @ 4 1/2, and Disc. set to Auto-tune. When I get a target, I flip down to 0 Disc. to ID the target by sound. I do the same thing with my CZ-20, and it produces, let me tell you!

You want to dig ALL targets that give a mid-, high-, or bouncing-tone response. I've recovered some earrings, and many chains, that wouldn't lock on. The earrings usually bounce low- to mid-tone, and sound very small, but shallow.
