Cz5 and gold#2?

Let me ask you guys another question about Gold. What if the gold was buried in a iron box, say a strong box. You will not get a high tone then right? It would just sound like iron, or am I wrong about that? Thanks again

You are correct.
If it's a solid/closed iron box (like a safe), then that's what the coil's induced eddy current will see...iron.

Unless the box is deep you will get the bell tone,raise the coil and find out what it is.
But yes anything inside of something metallic has no relevance to the signal given.
