CZ3D scores my first gold ring!

Got out for a very short hunt in a field that seemed to have been cleaned by a vaccum...8 pennies and four screw caps later (damb they sound good sometimes) I walked back to my car feeling a bit defeated. Just before I was about to exit through the gate I swung the coil and got a mid tone bouncing between foil and square tab repeatedly...what the heck I said...may as well add another pull tab to my collection...3" down and I saw the beautiful glint of gold...four bands...two yellow, one white and one pink...14kt Puzzle Ring. Great way to end an otherwise very unproductive hunt.

That, my friend, is what gets you hooked. I feel sorry for you somehow.

hey jeff wanted to ask you when you got that ring what kind of tones were you getting?

On the CZ3D the tones bounced from the mid-low(foil) to mid(square tab) tone. Strong signals which repeated themselves very consistently and pinpointed small.
