cz3d question

Have been using my 3d for almost a year now and have been specificly been hunting coins with some success. My main method is to dig only high tones that repeat from different angles.Even then I dig occasional nails, screw caps, etc but I understand thats to be expected. I would like to change my emphasis to relics(buttons, buckles, pins, etc). What tones of the four on the 3d should I pay most attention to? Since it is a great coin hunter should I forget relics hunting with it?

There is no reason you can't do well with the 3D as a relic hunter. It might hunt a little slower than some relic hunters like to go, that's all.

If you are doing serious relic hunting, I would probably put it in salt mode, and dig all non-ferrous signals. You want all brass, copper, pewter, tin, silver, gold, etc. when relic hunting. When I hunt relics, it's the same as when I water hunt. I dig all non-ferrous targets.

Good hunting,

OldeTymer
