I've been detecting for about 30 years and like everyone possessing a love for the hobby has settled into their favorites I started out with a Garrett Discriminator a long time ago and ended up with my preferences being White's & Tesoros and for whatever reason I've never owned a Fisher but have a couple friends that use the F series from F2 to F75. I came across an article that got me researching CZ3D's and found and bought one it turned out to be a 1021 that had already been tuned by Tom D with three coils and looks to have little or no use on it I've read all I can find and have started getting use to it as much as possible with what our weather has been in the Midwest. I've emailed Tom and he said once tuned they shouldn't need it again. Sorry to be so long winded now my question. I am considering taking Tom's training class that he advertises on his web page and would like to talk with someone who has taken it I consider myself knowledgeable with detecting but also I don't claim to know it all and am constantly learning I would like to take the class and am sure I would benefit from it however 1200.00 is a considerable amount of money to me and would have to factor airfare and hotel stays into the venture so by the time all is said and done I'd be looking at around 2 grand so any help from someone who has first hand knowledge about the training course would be appreciated Thanks for your time.
