CZ3d nets a 1979 Susie B...........................

While out playing with the 3d near the road right of way strip by my house, I hit this Susie B dollar about 4" deep. I thought when I saw that eagle on the back I really had something, until I flipped it over and saw Susie starring back at me. But, then again, Susie B's aren't that common a find either I reckon. Not as nice a walking Liberty, but a sight better then a clad penny.

I doubt it...Sac. dollars are all being hoarded and Anthony coin wasn't well received..Heck our Canadian friends have a dollar and even a two dollar coin...sure would be nice hunting local parks if we had them also..Tough for even quarters to add up...

Like Dan said, they stuck out twice already. I never dug a Susan B., but I think they still use 'em as change in certain post office machines. Maybe if they get serious & actually eliminate the dollar bill completely, that will be what it takes to force people to use the coins?
But, imagine if dollar coins DO get to become the norm in the US how that would change the face of modern coinshooting? Especially with a "numbers" ID detector like a Coinstrike you could do say a beach & if the new dollar coin was say a +40 you could run around like this just diggin that number & make some serious dough
