CZ3D meets local pounded park - Video

Bill_S

Well-known member
Finally got another CZ3D and took it to one of the local public parks that has been pounded for years. Didn't do too bad. Must have got a good one. Only dug one piece of rusty iron and probably should not have dug that. If anyone knows what the button like thing is at the beginning let me know. Thanks.

What kind of digger is that? The one that's curved. Dang I believe I am amazed at how well that 3d performed is it a 1021 or FT?

The digger is a Raptor model 31. I bought this detector brand new from a dealer. It is a FT model. Seems to be working ok.....;o)

Awesome man you have one great place dig there!! I am going to get one of those diggers!! You have to dig deep with these cz's !!! I believe I will just keep my analog cz's also how fast are you sweeping your coil??

Man that was fast! Awesome video I love the way you take of your headphones and record that sweet high tone that a CZ has and the pinpoint whine and depth reading. I guess that goes to show you don't need a 1021 los banos CZ-3D to get good performance. That is what I love about CZ-3D's is the way it gave you just enough of a high tone bounce to dig those Indians. That is why I will always have one in my arsenal! By the way what did you do with that hot CZ-70 pro?

I sold that CZ70 to Christopher Ohio. It worked good and went deep but I really wanted another 3D so I got rid of it.

Nice Digs and great video. See you were in Enhanced mode. Did you dig much trash in that park?

No because I ignored all the trash signals and shallower signals and was only concentrating on the deeper high tones. The ground was frozen in some spots so I wanted to limit my digging to what I thought would be good targets. But there is a lot of trash in the area because I have hunted the area before.

nice hunt and video. I love the fishers for deep finds. my old 1266 is all I relic hunt with.

Bill, I got to say your videos are some of the best around. You really get my blood pumping while I am trying to get winter done with. Keep up the great work. R.L.

Just ordered mine!!! It looks to be a great machine.
I use the Little Eagle Shovel and, it makes digging a lot easier

Lol, thanks RLOH. I am glad you enjoy them.....I will make some more when the weather gets better....

Tailofdog. I hope you get a good one........;o)[/size]

Great Video, CZ's rock
Your disc is a US Army Artillery Collar disc.

I also enjoy your vids with the tones sounding off, Thanks Bill!

Great finds but even better was how you show what a 3D can do, in enhanced mode, in a trashy park scenario. Just going after the deep high tones, using the modulated audio where deeper signals give a softer hit is a great way to sniff out those old deepies like you did.

Great hunt and hope you have more of them.

Also, glad to know you got a great FT 3D. Hopefully FT sells a lot more and keeps that line going since I have 2 CZ6a's and 1 CZ3D and want to keep them for a long, long time.
