CZ3D is going to deep

I bought this 1021 numbered CZ last year. It has not been tuned up by Tom D. but it has some unreal depth. These were found with the 10.5 inch coil.

Below are a few pics from today. The first picture shows how I setup the CZ. The next one is a lead weight that was probably at 12". The pro pointer is in the hole to give you an idea. The digger in the hole is 14" long. The next picture show how the hole was closed and cleaned up.

The next set of pictures shows a deep iron target. Even though it was an iron target it was real deep too. Maybe even deeper than the lead disk.

One of my best finds of all time was found with my Texas CZ 3d. I kept getting this great signal and digging. I almost gave up three times thinking nothing good could be as deep as I was going. Finally, I was almost up to my elbow in the hole when I felt a metal edge. I flipped it over and out came an Ohio veteran's Civil War medal. These things aren't little but I honestly think I was at 15 inches or deeper when I got it. Now I have a 1021 D tuned unit and a big coil. Looking forward to finding that next super deep target this Summer.

Bill, I am sorry to hear that your 3D is too deep for you. I am sure you are getting tired of digging with it. I tell you what, you can send it my way, I need some practice digging.
By the way can't wait to see more videos, hopefully with the 3D!!

How often do you hear someone complain that their detector is too deep.....Lol The CZ was hitting targets the Etrac had a hard time even seeing. Must have been its day....Lightstryder I will try to do another one with the CZ and the big coil soon.

I will always have a CZ-3D in my line up as they are just awesome detectors! I have found many a goodie behind my E-trac which is no slouch,But in the rite area with the rite ground it will smoke the E-trac! I saw a guy awhile back with a Explorer SE that comented on my''Old Fisher''. I found 5 old coins to his 1 and I said not bad for a Old Fisher. LOL!

Make sure you get one that is properly calibrated and has decent depth. If you decide to get one let me know and I will try to help you out.
