Hi Everyone
Been working this older cleaned out park this week with the 3D. I have never really pulled any old coins from the middle part of this park except a few 50s wheat's that were a couple of inches deep. This spot had a house on it in the 1880s and has been well hunted so I thought it would be a good test for the 3D. About half way through my lunch hunt I received a deep 4 way repeater with a little iron tone now and then. It was about 5 inches deep and rang high coin so I dug. About 5 inches down out pops a 28-s Standing liberty quarter. I was kind of surprised at first but then I realized that the 3D was doing what it was designed to do. Find old coins! I had the sens at about 7 but It seems to run smoother at 3. Disc at accept iron and listen to it all. You need to listen and examine all high tone signals and if unsure then dig.
