Here's some pics of finds from a couple of short hunts after work at a local fairgrounds. I was using the 10.5" coil with disc. at 0, sens. at 4, volume at 4. It was quite a trashy area, probably too trashy for the 10.5, therefore I had to slow the sweep waay down and listen for the repeating high tones, that were sometimes only four-way blips with all the trash in the ground. I'll probably go back over this area with the 5" shooter to see how much I missed. One hole actually had a bullet, pull tab, and a zinc penny in it. I did manage one Merc, a 43', at about 6" down. It sure was nice to see silver pop out! The tag is pretty cool. It says something along the lines of "Good for 10c on purchase of Colgates or Palmolive ....Cream" The rest is not legible. I love finding these old advertisement tags.
