CZ3D..couple of aspects...

Love the new tone for foil as its the hotspot for thin gold rings with nice stones..Watch the large target alert as it went off on two seperate quarters right on top. Perhaps mine is set too sensitive but certainly not a plus..which is supposed to be improved....Was able to get very close to a fellow with a CZ7A with the CZ3D...on previous CZ's I used one CZ would blow another out of the water with cross talk even at good distances..So Indeed a CZ3D is a different beast from previous CZ's....

Dan,

My large target alarm will go off on about any coin on the surface when placed directly on it. Mine will not go off as long as your scanning the coin 1" or higher. So, I will dig if my large target alarm does not go off until I touch the ground with it. I also observe the pinpoint pattern. It will give me an idea of the size of the target. If it's too large, I won't dig.
