CZ3D COILS

My CZ3D has a 5 pin connecter for the coil . What I want to know is , will any 5 pin fisher coil work with the CZ3D or does the CZ3D require a specific coil ? Thanks
 
All models of CZ will work except the original CZ6 which had a 4 pin connector...In other words if the CZ coil has five pins it will work. For those that hipmount be advised the CZ7 and CZ7A came with a short coil wire connector not applicable to hipmounting...
 
Hi:

A question I have is are all these coils water proof? My wife bought me one and I want to take it to the beach this summer. The only thing is when she bought it used, it did not come with a owners manual...appreciate any help in this.
