CZ3D arrived and had to test it out!

Got the 3D and after putting it together took it out to the test garden. Hit hard on the coins and relics I had in there. Had been watching Toms DVD for some time now so sort of had the grasp of things not to mention reading all the back post on the 3D through the search tool here.

Had enough time to hunt my yard that I would have sworn was tapped out. Dug a few of the nail sounding targets that jumped high low tone and changed pinpoint just see if I could tell....nails it was or just iron, enough with that test then. I then spent about the next two hours running the yard. Dug some tab signals to see what came out and they were tabs or scrap. I then had a hard high tone repeatable...a clad Q! This is a yard I knew was hunted hard.

My next target was a high tone that turned out to be a fastner of some type. A small drip of lead later on with a hole in the top. At one point I had a high tone repeatable here and there but alot of iron in the area. I was able to confine the sweep and finally get a repeatable all the way around with only a few iron tones. Dug down and removed the plug and lost the signal. Removed a round piece of metal (some type of cap) and a nail. Ran the detector back over the hole and a steady high tone. Pinpointed and recovered a silver Q. Can't wait for next week when it warms up to hit some of the old houses I have to hunt.

Little more trash than I'm used too and a noisy little cuss but still learning. Thanks for the back post on the 3D, they helped alot.
