CZ22

DEAR FISHER COMPANY : it's your time now for making the new different cz machine with more options like
1. Light machine.
2. Back light.
3. Screen.
4. Fast target recovery.
5. New style not same the old 25 years .
6. Blue & black color .
7. New frequency options than old multiply freq.

You forgot a 1-100 analog screen...:personally feel the CZ is done as they are doing just that with F and T units....which cost less to produce...

Dear DAN-PA . Thanks for your opinion Also yes we should share our opinions about what we want with new Fisher cz machines because really it's so old design more than 25 years ... OMG. Regards

Makro, I would be shocked to see any new addition to the cz line. Or any new analog detector coming out of El Paso.

Dan hit it on the nose. The cz is a labor intensive platform to manufacture, and does not have anywhere near the profit margin of the digital units.

That's the bad news. The (hopefully) good news is that Dave Johnson who designed the beast is still hard at work in El Paso, along with a crack team of detector engineers. In betweeen cranking out a seemingly endless variety of Fisher, Teknetics and Bounty Hunter detectors at every price point in the market, it is pretty well known that there is no lack pf new technology cooking - including, we have been told future "multifreakers" as Dave calls them.

When? - nobody who knows would ever say and anybody who thinks they know probably doesn't! Lol.

I am feverishly waiting on the new CZX automatic Nugget detector Dave Johnson is working on. The money is burning a hole in my pocket! Dual Freq, new form of ground balance, auto tuning, auto ground balancing, should be interesting. I am mainly interested in the new form of ground balancing, allowing deeper detection.

I'm not electronic savy, but in my musical line of work there are companies that are developing hybrid gear, that are analog based products , but they are controlled digitally ..... How hard could that be to do when building a detector ? ...... I feel like the hurrier we go , the behinder we get with metal detecting !!......It's like anything else .....Quality and pride are just a thing of the past !! ....Jim

The rumours have come and gone even before this old thread was posted, but at least it's clearer now that things have been happening over at Fisher. The Manta project has been no secret. Could a multi-frequency VLF that replaces both the CZ and the F75 be in the works?

There is no CZ22 ............
