CZ21 wont ground balance, any ideas?

I have a cz21 and it wont ground balance. It gets no depth either but i think that is because its not ground balancing.
Any ideas what it could be?

Do you have a coil cover on it? If yes make sure it's clean a dirty coil cover can cause a detector to do things like not ground balance.

When you say it gets no depth is this based on actual testing or just no finding deep targets?

My CZ 21 doesn't GB on this particular beach I am hunting but it did on South Beach the first time I used it there for a couple of hours. The beach I am on now is heavily mineralized but I found junk deeper than I care to dig, like a tent stake at over two feet deep.
These are the only two places I have used it. I just bought it used and it was manufactured in 2014.

What are your other settings?

Can you describe the scenario where it gets no depth? What tests have you run?

Can you air test a quarter, dime, or nickel on the machine with various sensitivities, in autotune, and let us know the depths?

On most beaches I hunt I can keep my ground balance on 1 or 10 and there is no difference in GB. Sensitivity is what affects depth most. The most common reason for what you describe is that there might not be any targets...but we need more info

Took it to another river and it GB'd at about 6.

Might be the immediate environment you are testing it in.
