I'm coming back.I step back from THing about a year ago. Buy I'm looking to get back in a friend of mine has a CZ 20 I can get for a good price, My question is will it work in salt water as well as a excal? Depth, stability and so on..Thanks guys. ILL be hitting the Pensacola Florida Panhandle area. On weekends... weather permitting..... Thanks Greg..

Glad to hear you are getting back at it. I guess you don't have the Infinium LS now.

CZ's are stable and deep in salt water. Excal vs CZ is often a personal preference. I have used my CZ 20 in the Mexico Beach area on two trips there, with good results. Both trips there were before I had an Excal so can't compare the two in that general area. Mexico Beach appeared to be pretty mild sand. Not much iron trash and no black sand. Don't expect your area will be much different, but could be as there are several miles between Mexico Beach and Pensacola. There are some conditions I like the Excal a little more and some I like the CZ, but either one does very well in most salt water beach conditions.

If you get a good price on a CZ20 in good condition, it should do well for you at the beach.
