CZ vs Excalibur

John(Tx)

New member
For those of you that have used both, how does performance and depth stack up compared to each machine. I have used ( long time ago ) the CZ6a for salt water beach hunting and it did very good with great depth, will it go as deep as the excal? Thanks, John

John, I had one of the first CZ-6 detectors that came out and it was a terrific machine. Agree with you, good on saltwater beach and great depth. But I think the Excal and Sovereign both operate a little more stable, especially in areas with high mineralization. Not sure there is much, if any, difference in depth but I haven't used a CZ in quite a few years so I may be a little off with that statement. --Jerry
