CZ History and Model Differences, Please?

Lash

New member
I've been told the CZ is the best machine for west coast mineralized wet salt beach sand. (Anyone disagree?)

Does anyone know the timelines, development, improvements, and differences in the various CZ models to help me with my search for a good machine?

Thanks,

Lash

From 1992 to 2008 progressed thru CZ6-CZ6A-CZ5-CZ7-CZ7A-CZ7A pro- CZ70 pro-CZ3D call Fsher and they will tell you when each model introduced...for the sake of your type hunting there have been analogs and digitals but depending how the units were tuned are within a hair or so equal depthwise and handling wet salt sand conditions..Bear in mind beaches change from day to day and of course larger coils will usually require lower sens. and from day to day sens. may vary to what the waves bring in...
All in all PI units handles these conditions well but will break your back picling up every bobbi pin and fishhook..In addendum one of the many Sov. models also produce well under these conditions..Sorry Charlie but don't have the typing ability to explain the changes many which were cosmetic and have used every CZ model ever made so speaking from experience and indeed due to changing conditions these beaches vary in performance from day to day..

Sorry Charlie not being sarcastic just would take an awful long post to detail every model, perhaps if you asked a specific question on one or two models perhaps an experienced CZ user could add some input..All in all for all practical purposes a CZ is a CZ depending upon how its tuned...
