CZ detectors and Sunray FZ12 coils?

Frank in NH

Active member
Some people say CZ's like to id deep coins like nails, what are your findings on this using FZ 12" coils which go deeper then stock coils?

Just nature of the beast as all CZ's just like deep rusty nails and ID them in the Coins all facet. Every detector has their give and takeaways and with practice you can cut down the number of deep rusty coins dug and do remember a CZ is one of the deepest detectors around. Do visit Mikes CZ page for some tips which will help. Never used FZ12 coil but remember your still hunting with the same detector and should act like a CZ stock 8 inch coil. Would be nice to hear a report as they do go deeper and cover a lot of more ground and would imagine act just like a stock coil relative those blasted darn rusty nails....

Glad to see my posts are being read and from feedback I am getting new FZ12 goes super deep compared to a stock 8 which goes real deep on its own...
