CZ/Coinstrike

I have been lucky enough to try the Coinstrike...I know this is a CZ forum but just hold on...I bought the coinstrike thinking I have to try this machine and see what it can do. I did not have a hard time learning it because I have had a DFX before and the forums are so good here.
I gave the C$ a real good fair try for a month and hunted just with that machine. It is easy to use and no learning curve for me.
I went back to my CZ70Pro and said my God why would I ever want a Coinstrike. Does it unmask better well maybe the coinstrike does better with the 8 inch coil then the 70 does but put on the smaller coil on the 70 and it sings.
Nickels were a big part of my hunts with the 70 not with the C$. And I didn't like the tones they didn't seem to be as strong and lock on.
The 70Pro is a great machine it is so easy to use and pushes the coins in the high tone! I can see why NASA TOM loves the CZ3 and the 70 Pro. I can't wait to see what Tom comes out with in his next machine. Maybe more programing and a way to find more gold jewlery. Parks and schools are beconing more littered and you can't see the trash cause it is all in the ground.
I think the Coinstrike is for the person that wants more info. I do like the VDI numbers becasue you can see how the tone relates to the target. I also love my CZ3D

First of all...I'm not bashing the C$ as I've never owned one and I'm sure they're excellent machines. I've had numeric VDI machines before as well as "icon ID" machines (such as the cz70). I much prefer the ID system of the cz70 as the "number system" of the VDI machines can actually talk you out of digging some signals. With the cz, I like knowing "its probably a coin". In that case, I'm digging. I don't need to know if its a dime, quarter, half, mint mark <img src="/metal/html/oh.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":O"> , etc before digging.
In my humble, and (honestly) amateur opinion, relying on the numbers may make you less likely to dig goodies.
{clink, clink} my 2 cents.

for your honest opinion. That's what I like about these forums. It makes me feel better about owning my 3D.
