CZ and Killer B's headphones

I won a pair of Killer B's at a hunt recently. I was excited because I had been wanting to try a pair of the higher-end headphones. However today I put them on and plugged them into my CZ-6a just to see how they sound and was dissapointed. The signals sounded kind of far away and "tinny". I had the stereo/mono switch set appropriately - on the other setting I got nothing. Has anyone else had any experience with this combo? It could be that it's just different than what I'm used to. I currently use a pair of Fisher headphones.

Thanks,

Kent

It may just be a difference between a specific detector and your headphones. I have the expensive Fisher phones which sound great on my CZ ,C$ and GTI-2000, but sound exactly like you described them on my DMC-2B.

I do know Fisher headphones work great on Fishers but some others do not or may take a while to get used to. Might want to ask what the other fellows use and your headphones may be faulty. Heck I use 20 dollar Calrads and they work great for me as the Fisher headphones would blow my socks off if I wasn't careful...Again we get into personal preferences, hearing abilities so use what works..I surely don't know the technical aspects but all phones from the cheap ones to the expensive ones are not created equal...
