cz 70 versus other detectors

how does my cz 70 compare with the more modern detectors. which fisher is the best for success in detecting coins and jewelry?

I would say the CZ 70 will be at the top 10 detectors. I have a CZ 70 pro and i found some of my best finds with in 2 weeks of owning it.

All CZ's are good at coins and jewelry. But with the CZ-70 you can notch all but mid tones out and just listen for those where all the gold jewelry falls. And as far as old coins the CZ-3D is nice because it puts some of the older Indians and nickles with patina in the high coin tone range not to mention a 5 dollar gold piece if you are lucky to pass you coil over one. But you can't go wrong with any CZ as coil for coil still one of the deepest detectors around!

As deep as anything on the market and with its notch system doubles as a coin and jewelry unit and one of the best on wet saltwater beaches..

Over the years got some nice deep silver with a CZ and with it 5 and 15 frequency also some nice gold rings.....making it a dual threat.......

I have been detecting for decades, and I had a CZ 6A I bought new. Used it with a chest mount, to cut down on the various headphone tangling problems and swing weight. I reluctantly traded it, then regretted it, and recently purchased a CZ 70 Pro.
I think Fisher was ahead of the curve at that time, with its splashproof feature, dual frequencie and the enhancement of weak audio signals. It seems Fisher was more performance oriented than bells and whitles.
There are some very nice detectors out now, with eye=popping prices, but the old Fishers rarely come up for sale because people keep them.
CZ's have what you need to stand up to the best of the new detectors.

The CZ-70 will be great for coins and jewelry, I will always have a CZ, I have tried other brands over the years and nothing compares!!!! HH Tony:detecting:

Hard to beat them in low to mid trash,.... heavy iron, there are better, faster units. I have a 1021 cz and will never, under normal circumstances, sell it. I'm heading out to a 1870's house in an hour and it will probably be the unit of choice, depends on what I see when I get there (my buddy is taking me to this place, I've never been there).

So, that being said, detecting with a cz of any model, you can be confident Rex, that you are hunting with a real winner. Good Luck!
