CZ 70 Problem ??

Boofer--(Va.)

New member
I just got a CZ 70 Pro and I have very little time with it.
I found one thing I don't know if it's a setting or a problem with the machine.
When I pin point, it always reads zero inches for depth.
When I get off center a little, it may move around a little.

Take the box off and put on your picnic table in a hipmount configuration unless you really have long arms or perhaps an assistant. Press the pinpoint button and run a coin from the center out about 10 inches and back in to about an inch and your depth indicator should just move with the coin being deeper as you move out and shallow as you get back to one inch..If it doesn't respond it appears your pinpoint button is malfunctioning or you have internal problems..Never heard of this problems myself and might visit your local Fisher dealer to confirm as your are not familiar with unit. Your dealer will let you know right from the get go if it needs a trip to the shop for repair...or then again might be an easy fix...

I tried your suggestion, but it did the samething.
The audio increases and decreases, but the display
stays on zero inches.
It looks like internal problems.
Everything else seems to work great.
I will contact Fisher and see what they say.

Thanks for the reply !!
