CZ 70 Pro

Well for starters if it has the metal armrest its an older one and if it has the plastic armrest its a newer one..Fisher at one time would tell you its manfacture date by the ser. # but don't know if the new Fisher will or has the records to do so...

I think. If that is right, they all are 10 years old at the most. Some sold as new/old stock, so theoretically could be hardly used. Hope this helps. HH. Bob.

Believe these were the years of manufacture. cz6 -1991, cz5 -1992, cz7- fall of 1996, cz7a-spring of 1998, cz7a pro- summer of 1998, cz70 pro- sept. 2001, and cz-3d feb. 2004.

Thanks for all the replys.

I will look at this tomorrow. If anyone has anything good or bad to say please post

Thanks again,

The 102 serial numbers are newer than the 112 serial numbers on the CZ-70 PRO. But the 112 serial number detectors can sometimes be run hotter and a higher sens. than the 102 serial numbers. At least that is true in my ground. Some can be run at 6 sens. while the newer ones can usally not be run past 4 sens. There are rare exceptions,But this is generally the case.

I had the 112 serial number and it could be run to 6 and even 8 without any problems did not have it long as needed money for other adventures but did dig a coin at 8 inches according to the depth reading. Have owned other in the past but this was the only one that could be run that high on the sensitivity...

I have a 102 CZ-70 and I run it on 6 all the time I find dimes to 8.5" with the 8" coil and 10"dimes with the 10.5" coil its a fantastic detector. HH:detecting:
