Can anyone tell me what is the best coil to use one the Gulf Coast beaches? Want to hunt near the water...

For coverage and extra depth the FZ12 made by Sunray although pricey would be my choice. Unfortunately one would have to buy used as not made anymore..Wish I had one years ago in my saltwater beach hunting..Do remember with larger coils may have to lower sens. but the coverage is outstanding and pinpointing right on...Heck the stock 8 should do quite well and allow you to run in fairly high sens..Do remember to ground balance in the area you are hunting..
 
Ditto! They do seem to be getting hard to come by. I can run the sensitivity as high with the FZ-12 as I can with the standard 8 inch coil.
