I have been wanting to get a CZ-5 or CZ-6a. Been keeping a keen eye out on the classifieds and such and even posted a message once asking if any were out there. I had a fella email me with a CZ-6a but I'm not sure if the price is right on it. Thought I'd ask first.
He has a CZ-6a in pretty decent shape from the way he talked. He said he has the 8" coil, 5" coil, and 10 1/2" coil. Has a pair of Fisher headphones and also the external speaker accessory. It also comes with a hard case. He was asking $500 shipped. With the CZ-6a being an older unit...do you think it's worth the $500?

It has every coil. I sell used Fisher coils in classifieds for $60 ea. A hard case is great to have too! Now combine all those extras with the fact that a nice looking 6a goes for around $400 used it seems like a deal to me. The 6a is an all-time classic & seem to be getting a bit harder to find as folks who have 'em don't like to part with 'em. I loved I could take it out in a pouring rainstorm without a worry. Like Dan said, as long as it ain't beat on, I'd be all over it!
