CZ-6a sweep speed ?

Aldus(NY)

Lately I've been using a rather slow sweep and keeping coil on the grass. Is this the norm for the CZ-6a? The sens. is usually set at 3 and volume @ 4 , GB@5-6 . I get quite a few clicks and dings. Thanks...Aldus

but bump the Sens. up as high as you while maintaining a stable detector. Depending on your soil, that's probably around 4 or 5. In this setting, you get the best depth, while still getting the best target separation in junky areas.

CZ will tolerate a faster swing , but for the deepies a slow swing is the way to go...Sensitivty seems awful low and around 6 is probably the average for my area. I would look into your ground balance technique as seems like a lot of noise for a low sensitivity.Your call on the volume as 4 gives a modulated effect..shallow loud, deep soft and run at 10 myself as I like to hear the real deep hits well..
