CZ-6: Manual Available & Listing Price

I have a CZ-6 manual and the related promotional brochure. If interested in a copy, please PM me with your name and snail mail address and I can send to you.

Having said that, I like the machine - easy to use. I do have the old-school 4 pin connectors and must use the pigtail. I am more of a Minelab person, so I am considering selling it. Can anyone offer to me their opinion on what I should set as a lowest possible price? I would describe the display as good (very light scraches), the housing as good and the coil as used. I have replaced all 3 rods with new rods, new arm cuff and new coil cover. It has not been abused, but has been used. Prior owner(s) never cleaned the coil, so I have. What a bear removing that old coil cover, but it's cleaner now and has a new coil cover. It's works fine.

Thank you.

Hey snoopythebeagle
I also have a CZ-6 with the original owners manual but I would be interested in a copy of the promotional brochure. I am new here; how do I contact you?
Thanks

Well, you can't send me a PM since you have not met the 'constructive posting' requirements of the forum to send PMs. If you feel comfortable, post your snail mail address here or wait until you hit the requirement and recontact me.

Hello Snoopy,

There's a thread here somewhere regarding placing value on a CZ...

And I did get caught up in it.

It was fun because the group had pretty much come to an agreed valuation of about $350 for a very nice unit...
And then...
A workman was offered a unit when it came time to get paid for work he had already accomplished, by the owner.
I advised $250 in trade for credit value against the bill and there were great howls over my apparent change.
(The workman began, and completed the work satisfactorily, with the understanding he would be paid cash.)

Perhaps that was a year ago, and there are many new models out since that time.
...the 4pin coil connected pigtail setup is a detrimen t to the value...
Best way to determine value is observe the sales here on Findmall and perhaps the bay, for a bit.

I paid far less for my old dog of a CZ, yet it was beyond well-used and closer to battered and abused.
It was mandatory that I replace the coil, also.
A very helpful member here assisted me resolving that problem.

They are great machines... very powerful !
Anyone who followed the advice of NASA Tom should do very well with one.

Best

I really do not want to post my address on line but my email is demayot@gmail.com and if you send me an email I will reply with my mailing address. If that is not acceptable to you then I will wait until my "probation period" is over to recontact you. I am just concerned that if you sell your CZ-6 before then it would be too late.

Give me to early next week - I'll scan it and e-mail to you.

Thanks to all for the input.
