Pent a nice couple hours working the beach at Morro Bay to test the newly bought coil from the Rover.
It worked very well.
Flipped to salt mode and I was good to go...
It was a bit talky, but I'm still learning proper adjustment of the machine...

Wasn't able to pass the coil over Au, but did pull up a tab and a bit of canslaw from about 8" in the wet sand.
Not glorious, but I got good signals and feel they are representative of jewelry items I COULD have found.
Also dug an aluminum wire net peg up from about 10-12".
