No one offered to buy my CZ-so I decided to start using it. What's the best way for jewelry? The doggone thing is pretty accurate most of the time and I'm digging a lot of tabs. Seems like I get the most non-tab items in the square tab region. I'm beginning to ignore the faint foil sounds. And geez, I forgot how hot this thing is on nickels. I want to get out of just coins and start finding rings, etc. Any help appreciated.:pulltab:

Dig everything you never know when it comes to jewelry....I have found a lot of rings that come in at pull tabs ..

Sling...keep the discrim at 0 so you can here the iron tones. I found out with my CZ6a that if I have discrim at 1, lots of times the bigger iron or shallow iron would ring thru and give a high tone. What was happening was that it was giving the low/high tone 'bounce' but since I had the discrim at 1, I could not hear the low tone.

I now hunt with discrim at 0 ( unless there is so much iron I have to use 1) and then only dig the repeatable mid and high tones. Any low/high tone bounce that is shallow I don't dig. I do dig the low/high bounce when the target is 7-8 inches or more.
