cz-5 upgrade to cz3d?

I bought a cz-5 that has been upgraded Tom D to cx3d specs. Can someone tell me if the salt/normal switch is now used for the enhanced/normal switch now. Air testing and buried coin is getting slightly more depth in salt mode.

take care Jerry

Hi, I never had one converted over but it seems like normal should be the enhanced mode and the salt mode should be the salt mode....Usually it would normally get less depth while implicating the salt mode in a non salt enviroment....Make sure you are properly ground balanced too, this might explain the depth differential & different target compositions make a difference also.....JJ

Should be vice versa as the reg mode is the salt mode and the enhanced mode is not...

As differences are minor wouldn't worry about it and use the enhanced mode for old areas and the salt mode toggle to left for new areas...Might PM TD for further clarification...

Hello Jerry i have a cz-5 tuned by Tom also, far as i understand it everything is the same as 3-d, except the cz 3-d has extra foil tone! I bought a 3-d also they are both great machines! HH
