CZ-5 Quicksiver

I could not believe I scored a barely used CZ-5 Quicksiver for $50.00. I have not opened the battery compartment up yet (fingers crossed) it has been stored for awhile with the batteries in it.

Where and how did you get a steal like that? Their going for 350-400.00 on E-bay! I just picked up a CZ-3D on E-bay with the warranty card for 450.00,And I thought that was a steal! And yes it is a 1021,I would not have purchased it otherwise. I believe Tom Dankowski when he says there is a difference because I have owned a new one and original one. I think Tom knows more about it than other so called CZ guru's on this forum!

Nice score

Does it work......or just a wall hanger? Hope ya luck out with the batteries, I've seen some nice electronics ruined by leaking batteries. Then again I have seen a nice Fisher 1212x that had the original battery in it and it was unharmed. Good luck.

Wow, talk about treasure finding. Good job. You can pay for that one pretty quickly even if you just use clad.

Checked out the $50.00 CZ-5 Quicksilver. Battery compartment was clean as a pin, looked new inside and still had original batteries in it. No corrosion at all.
I installed some new coppertops and fired it up. One concern was a chirpping sound which seemed strange but realized it was picking up my cell phone
charger. Air test says a O.K. Unit cleaned up to looking almost new.

A little update on the $50.00 CZ-5. Everything is great.. Two new batteries and this thing is singing.. Took it a hunt at an old battle field and back to back Musket ball and a Federal three ringer some brass, nickels , zincs. and foil this thing is dead on . I'm tickled pink..

Great machine, you'll have $50 made up in no time....

Guess that means you are not interested in selling it right away.
Great deal you got!
