CZ-5 control box help

bsgetz

New member
I have a CZ-5 that works fine, but when I tip it from side to side or turn it upside down I hear a sound like something is loose inside the box.

Any ideas what it is, should I not worry, or should I try to peak inside to see what it is?

If I were to look inside how do I open up the box?

Any help please, Thanks

Indeed you have something inside and could damage the internals..Might want to call Fisher as unlike weather resistant CZ's no chance of damaging the rubbers. Certainly don't know your abilities rel such a procedure but would want to talk to a tech lest you cause some more damage but either way whatever is in there has to come out lest you have major problems along the line..

Mate i have opened mine a few times do it on a table and undo the two rear screws and pull the box apart their is a wire conected to the box and it clips to the foil shield that surrounds the circuit boards see if that has come loose but it is like detecting you dont know what you will find.terry in oz

Ok I found the noise, I shined a light through the speaker grill and seen that the speaker was sliding around, so I poped the grill out of the box and glued everything back together.

Thanks for some of the advice.
